‘Pawan Reason Behind TDP’s Decreasing Popularity'

Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan’s poll rhetoric seems to be not working in his favour. The situation on the ground shows that the Jana Sena chief is struggling to win his Pithapuram seat. Earlier reports suggested, megastar Chiranjeevi would hit the campaign trail to support his brother in his assembly constituency. 

The reports also said that the Tollywood star would halt the shooting for his upcoming film Vishwambhara to lead the polling campaign for his younger brother. However, Chiranjeevi issued a video message on Tuesday in which he made an appeal to the Pithapuram voters to elect his brother and send him as their representative to the state Assembly. So, the elder brother is not holding roadshows and election rallies for the younger brother? The latest message indicates that Pawan Kalyan cannot depend on anyone to help him in the poll campaign which is going to end two days before the May 13 polls. 

Meanwhile, Jana Sena received another jolt when the popular Dalit TDP leader Saripella Rajesh Kumar aka Maha Sena Rajesh made an announcement that he was withdrawing his support to Pawan Kalyan’s party in the upcoming elections. Taking to social media, Rajesh said chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is far better than Pawan Kalyan when it comes to the upliftment of the weaker section of the society. He also blamed Pawan Kalyan for the 'loss' of TDP's vote share among the SC, ST, BC and minority community. 

With people gradually withdrawing their support to Jana Sena, it remains to be seen if Pawan Kalyan could turn the tables in the Monday elections and realise his dream of entering the gates of the State Assembly.
