 - Sakshi Post

Guntur: As the ruling YSRC party is gearing up for an election campaign in the state, a big announcement is expected on the party's poll manifesto. The party’s previous announcement of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s state-wide bus yatra has infused enthusiasm among the party leaders and party workers. They are preparing to join the electioneering.

CM Jagan will embark on a 21-day ‘Memantha Siddham’ bus yatra which is expected to begin on March 27. The yatra would cover all the parliamentary constituencies. During the first phase, the chief minister will reach out to the people and address public meetings daily. The assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to be held on May 13, 2024.

Before the release of the gazette notification of assembly polls by the Election Commission, the chief minister would undertake the bus yatra and will seek their suggestions to further improve the performance of the government.

During the bus tour, CM Jagan would spend time with local people and stay overnight in those constituencies. According to party sources, the chief minister would commence his bus yatra by offering floral tributes to his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya. The ruling party is expected to release the itinerary and route map of the chief minister’s upcoming bus yatra today.
