Fake News Alert: TDP Circulating Fake Poll Survey

Fearing a huge defeat in the coming elections, the opposition TDP has stooped to a new low. After allying to fight against one Jagan Mohan Reddy who is fighting singlehandedly with the people's support, the 'desperate' TDP is now resorting to every trick in the book to spread false propaganda. A fake poll survey, allegedly in the name of the Intelligence Bureau report, is being widely circulated on WhatsApp and other social media platforms. As the TDP and Co are afraid to take on YSRCP in the direct elections, they have taken an online fake report.

Notably, the same TDP & Co have spread false propaganda over the Land Titling Act. However, they failed miserably to influence the public, thanks to the swift retaliation from the YSRCP. Helpless TDP is now resorting to fake news about the May 13 elections in Andhra Pradesh. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the ruling YSRCP has said that the TDP is circulating a fake poll survey report pertaining to the Andhra Pradesh elections through various WhatsApp groups.

The red flag here is the fake poll survey is falsely attributed to the Intelligence Bureau (IB). It may be noted here that the Intelligence Bureau, which operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been misrepresented in the counterfeit report in circulation on social media messaging app.

Meanwhile, the ruling party has asked the social media users and netizens to remain cautious and not fall into the trap of the TDP’s fake propaganda.
