Chiranjeevi: A Failed Politician With Zero Credibility. Any Takers For His Appeal?

He might be a 'Mega Star' in films. But when it comes to the politics, he is a failed politician who selfishly merged his party (Praja Rajyam Party) into the Congress for his aspirations and post as Union Minister, leaving the thousands of party workers and leaders to the last. Ironically, his brother Pawan Kalyan had found fault with Chiru's decision to merge the party with the Congress. Chiru returned to cinema and is struggling to score success like before as many of his films incurred steep losses to their producers and distributors, barring one or two films that just managed to break even.

Now, Chiranjeevi has called to support his brother Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram and urged the fans and the people to vote for him. Earlier, Chiranjeevi made a quite contrary statement that Pawan should be self-sufficient to become successful in politics. In first place, Chiranjeevi is a failed politician who never stood for Andhra Pradesh. Chiru was part of the Congress party that unilaterally divided Andhra Pradesh state. Chiru was tight-lipped and he was basking in the post of Union Tourism Minister.

The majority people of AP hold no interest in Chiru as a politician as he hardly did anything for the state. Chiru himself lost in Palakollu in the 2009 election, however, he managed to win from Tirupati. Pawan Kalyan had lost in both seats - Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram - in the 2019 election. Now, Pawan shifted his political base to Pithapuram, hoping to get Kapu votes. But the trends look against Pawan as a local candidate and YSRCP's Vanga Geetha has a stronghold and is predicted to win. As a last resort, Chiru came to the rescue of his younger brother Pawan. But there are no takers for Chiru as none care about his words and appeals. 

Not just Chiru, almost the entire Mega Family vouched for Pawan Kalyan for his MLA candidature in Pithapuram which shows Pawan's desperateness to win as MLA. A video in which Pawan pleaded with TDP leader Varma and cadre to elect him as MLA has gone viral on social media platforms, stressing how low Pawan stooped. This is not all. From TV serial artists to Jabardasth actors, they have all campaigned for Pawan in Pithapuram. All this demonstrates that Pawan & Co have lost hope on Pithapuram and as a last resort, none other than Family Head Chiranjeevi stepped in. But the trends and talk indicate a clear victory for Vanga Geetha, dashing hopes for Pawan.
