 - Sakshi Post

Several polling agencies have already suggested that the ruling YSRCP is set to regain power in the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, a latest pre-poll survey by Chanakyya has predicted a landslide victory for the ruling party in the May 13 polls.

The pre-poll has predicted that the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party will win the upcoming elections with 98 MLA seats. The notable feature of the survey is that the female voters are huge supporters of the YSRCP and they want to see the party back in the seat of power. The pollster asserted that the women electorate have appreciated the welfare schemes and therefore favour the ruling party in the elections.

The TDP-BJP-JanaSena alliance is expected to register their win in 77 assembly segments. Out of 175 assembly seats, the ruling party is expected to win 93-103 seats while the TDP+ will likely secure 72-82 seats.

Sharing the break up of winnable seats district-wise, the survey agency has stated that the YSRCP wave is strong in several districts and the ruling party is so strong in YSR district that the party is expected to win all the 10 seats while TDP alliance will score a zero. Kurnool is another district where the YSRCP will hand out a crushing defeat to the opposition alliance in the elections.
