Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to Twitter to declare the readiness of YSRCP for the upcoming electoral battle on May 13. "13th May 2024 Siddham!," he wrote on 'X' emphasizing that the party is ready to retain power in Andhra Pradesh. The Election Commission released the schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections across the country on Saturday along with the allocation for four state assembly elections.

According to the released plan, the elections for 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh will occur in a singular phase. Despite the nationwide elections spanning seven phases, the Central Election Commission has designated the elections in Andhra Pradesh to be conducted during the fourth phase. The polling in Andhra Pradesh is set for May 13, with the counting scheduled for June 4.

Meanwhile, YSRCP has unveiled its roster of candidates for the 175 legislative assemblies and 24 Lok Sabha seats, with an emphasis on social equity. There has been a marked increase in the allocation of seats to SCs, STs, BCs, and Minorities, than ever before.
