Race 3 Fails to Beat Tiger Zinda Hai Collections on Day 1  

Bollywood star Salman Khan's Race 3, the third instalment of the Race Franchise, which hit theatres yesterday has opened on a fantastic note. Race 3 has been receiving a positive response for the plot and impressive star cast.

The positive word of mouth from the audiences is expected to pull audiences to theatres this Eid Weekend. Even Bollywood top stars Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan promoted the film with a special greeting on the social media network.

On opening day, Race 3 managed to rake in Rs 30 Cr at the box office.

On the other hand, Race 3 tickets for the weekend have been sold out in most Northern parts like Nagpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jabalpur, and Korba. Race 3 is set to break several records in the coming days. According to trade pundits, Race 3 is likely to join the Rs 100 Cr club in the opening weekend itself.

However, if recent reports in trade circles are any indication, Salman Khan's Race 3 has failed to beat Tiger Zinda Hai First day box office collections. Bhai's Tiger Zinda Hai which was released last year had earned Rs 34 Cr on its first day at the box office.

Race 3 is helmed by Remo D’Souza and the film boasts of a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles. Watch this space for more.
