Janhvi Kapoor’s Dhadak Trailer Vs Sairat Trending On Twitter

The much awaited trailer of ‘Dhadak’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishan Khatter is out. It sparked a lot of discussion across the Indian audience who are comparing it to the Marathi film ‘Sairat’, which Dhadak is a remake of.

Although a low budget film, Sairat had garnered a lot of critical acclaim from the audience and the critics alike across the world.

Produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions Banner, the film marks the debut of late Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, alongside Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Ishaan Khatter; The hindi version has however, turned into a big budget film with some big names in the industry associated with it.

Many Bollywood fans have showered their love on the trailer, while a few others are not too happy with the roles of Archi and Parshya being glamourised.

The trailer, with intricate sets, includes some steamy scenes and shows the cast beautifully. Ishaan has also received adoration from the audiences while the same cannot be said about Janhvi’s acting skills.

During the trailer release event, when asked about Nepotism, Karan Johar replied saying, ‘They’re not here because of that word but because of their hardwork’
