Sye Raa AP Telangana Theatrical Rights sold For Fancy Price

Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi made a fantastic comeback in the film Khaidi No 150 which broke all records at the box office across the world. The film directed by VV Vinayak featured Kajal Aggarwal in lead role while Chiru himself played dual roles. The songs were chartbusters.

He is now gearing up for a period flick titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy based on the life on the freedom fighter. The film has an impressive star cast including the likes of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi and Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep. While Nayantara plays the female lead opposite Chiru, Tamannaah too will be seen in a key role.

We already told you that Khaidi did well at the box office. Not only that the film had earned a whopping Rs 67 crore from its theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Now, we hear that the theatrical rights of Chiru's next, Sye Raa, directed by Surender Reddy have been sold for a whopping 150 crores which is double the amount raked in by Khaidi.

Looks like at this rate, Sye Raa business will overtake Khaidi No.150.
