Mehbooba First Day Box Office Collection

Director Puri Jagannadh's Mehbooba released in theatres yesterday. And it has received mixed response from the audiences. The film stars Puri Jagannadh's son Akash Puri in lead roles which marked his second film Tollywood as a lead actor.

Mehbooba has managed to collect $141,297 on its opening day at the overseas box office. Take a look at this tweet:

Mehbooba is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It is a reincarnation love story which has drawn appreciation from the audience. The music has been composed by Sandeep Chowta. The film stars Neha Shetty of Mungaru Male fame as the leading lady in the film.

Looks like Puri is finally relieved after watching his son's performance in this film. Akash Puri has been flooded with congratulatory messages on social media for his brilliant performance in the film. Rumors doing the rounds suggest that he is all set sign his next film shortly. While overseas collections have been encouraging, on the domestic front, the film could have collected approximately one crore at the box office. Exact figures are yet to be known.
