Balayya’s NTR Biopic A Hot Property For Distributors
It's the season of biopics. After the super success of Mahanti, a bipic on yesteryear actress Mahanati, there are three more biopics on cards—NTR, YSR and ANR.
Now, the makers of YSR biopic yatra released a teaser to mark the birth aniiversary of the late chief minister. Now, talk of a possible biopic on ANR rose after Nag Chaitanya expressed his desire to see his thatha's biopic. Meanwhile the biopic on late chief minister and cine actor NT Rama Rao is grabbing headlines. The film features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role while Vidya Balan has been roped in to play his wife Basavatarakam.

The NTR biopic was supposed to be directed by Teja but he walked out of the project owing to some creative differences. Now, NTR biopic is being helmed by Krish and shaping up well, we hear.

If latest reports doing the round is to be believed, there is a huge demand for NTR biopic in the market. USA distributors are competing to bag the film rights and they are willing to shell out a hefty price even before the film's release. It is worth mentioning here that the makers are yet to reveal the trailer of the film.
According to reliable sources, a well known distributor from USA has offered a whopping Rs 12 Cr for Balakrishna's NTR's biopic. On the other hand, another established distributor has come forward to buy the rights for a fancy price of Rs 13.25 Cr. The makers of the film have kept the deal on hold for a while. It remains to be seen how much the film will finally fetch in the pre business.
Latest rumors doing the rounds suggest that Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati will essay the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. However, an official confirmation about Rana is yet to be made by the filmmakers. Earlier, it was said that Jagapathi Babu was chosen to play Chandrababu. Let's see who willt the makers finally zero in on.
NTR biopic is a multilingual which will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil simultaneously. The film could release next year around Sankranthi.
