Jana Sena Ready To Contest Panchayat Polls: Pawan Kalyan
Bhimavaram: Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan once again lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu over the escalating corruption in the state government. Addressing a public gathering here today, Pawan likened the Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) corruption to the stinking smell of Yanamalakuduru drain. "The TDP leaders are now running sand mafia, after exploiting all the natural resources in the state. It is highly unfortunate that the Godavari districts are having to struggle with lack of drinking water," he added.
The Jana Sena Party founder observed that the TDP failed to provide atleast a dumping yard to West Godavari district in return for electing the party contestants in 15 seats. Pawan, who already declared that Jana Sena would contest all Assembly seats in the state, said that the party was ready to fight the local body elections as well. "Chandrababu, however, is not ready to conduct Panchayat polls," he remarked. I do not have any personal disputes in politics, he added.
