Jaleel Khan Backing Meat Shop: Vellampalli Srinivas

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party city leader Vellampalli Srinivas remarked that only with the support of TDP MLA Jaleel Khan the religious belongings at Vinchipet were removed and a meat shop was established in that place. The YSRCP leader said sacred flags of the religious place were thrown away to make way for a meat shop, he said and added that these had taken place due to the support of MLA.

Vellampalli said that Jaleel Khan's followers were indiscriminately attacking the people who tried to stop the establishment of meat shop. It was unfortunate that the TDP MLA who is also chairman of Wakf Board, which is meant to protect the minority properties, was involved in dismantling religious place and supporting the meat shop owner. Government should immediately take action against Jaleel Khan, Salem and their followers, he added.
